Vietnam’s New WTO Talks To Begin This Month

Vietnam will conduct a new round of multilateral negotiations for entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Switzerland this month, said the trade ministry Tuesday.

Set for March 19-23 in Geneva, top issues for this 11th round relate to international treaties and state subsidy policies - the most vital discussion in relation to Vietnam’s admission to the WTO, the ministry said.

Tet Viet 2006, being held at the My Dinh National Stadium, has more than 200 pavilions showcasing a range of flowers and ornamental plants, and food and beverages used in celebrating Tet.
