Ha Noi, Mar. 1 (VNA) -- A communique on a three-day official visit to Viet Nam from Feb. 27 to Mar. 1 by Party General Secretary and President Jiang Zemin of China reflects both countries' resolve to take bilateral ties to a new height of development.

The communique, released in Ha Noi on Mar. 1, says Viet Nam and China agreed to maintain the fine tradition of conducting high-level meetings in diverse forms to discuss their bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.

UNHCR provides list of voluntary returnees from CPC back to VN

Ha Noi, Feb. 14 (VNA) - The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is likely to provide Viet Nam with a list of voluntary returnees from camps in Cambodia on Feb. 15 so as to help them be back home on Feb. 16.

It was the outcome of a two-day working visit ending on Feb. 13 of a UNHCR delegation led by Javier Riedmantten, Deputy Regional Representative in Thai Land, Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam, to the Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum.
