Ha Noi, May 7 (VNA) -- A ceremony was held today, May 7, at the headquarters of the Ford-Viet Nam Company in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province, to deliver 15 cars presented in aid by the American Red Cross Society (ARCS) to the Viet Nam Red Cross (VNRC).

Among those present at the event were representatives from the Ford -Viet Nam Company, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the VNRC.

This was part of the ARCS-funded USD 1.156 million project to "increase possible urgent responses to disasters in seven central provinces" from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh, which are prone to natural calamities.--VNA
