Answer:
Viet Nam supports efforts to work towards a comprehensive and categorical disarmament, first and foremost the disarmament of nuclear weapons.
It is our view that the development and deployment of the National Missile Defense (NMD) are not in the interest of peace and international security, run counter to the trend of peace and development. This act will have a negative impact on the regional and global strategic equilibrium, do harm to the disarmament and arms control process and incite a new arms race.
