In Da Nang city, a Village of Hope was opened, built and equipped through a 150,000 USD donation from the Unilever group.
Unilever has also provided 100,000 USD to built a school for blind children in the city.
The group, arrived in Viet Nam six years ago, and has granted about 70 billion VND (4.7 million USD) in aid to Viet Nam for humanitarian and social activities.
Meanwhile, Hope Heaven International Ministries, a U.S. non-governmental organisation, on Nov. 15, presented 80 wheelchairs to handicapped children in northern Ha Tay province.
The wheelchairs, each worth between 200-300 USD, were part of an aid package that the International Wheelchair Association reserved for the province.
