Da Nang sofware center in cooperation with Indian company
Dec. 7 (VNA) -- The software technology centre of the central city of Da Nang on Dec. 6 signed a cooperation agreement with India's Aptech Company for personnel training in software industry.
According to the agreement, the Indian company will be responsible for the training, the provision of teaching skills, and books and educational quality control and of issuing certificaties. The Da Nang Centre will take the responsibility of managing the training facilities, following procedures set up by Aptech, and to have teachers trained to the standards required by Aptech.
This is the first step in the city's plan to develop the software industry, with the aim of building it as a major economic industry.
The centre plans to train about 2,500 software programmers by 2005.--VNA
