11th Plenum of Party Central Committee
Ha Noi, Jan. 6 (VNA) -- The Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee opened its 11th plenum in Ha Noi today, Jan. 6.
The conference was also attended by advisors to the Party Central Committee Do Muoi, Le Duc Anh, and Vo Van Kiet.
In his opening speech, CPV General Secretary Le Kha Phieu said that so far the Party Committees of 41 of the country's provinces and cities and six centrally run Party Committees had held their congresses where they had made remarks about the draft documents prepared for the ninth national Party congress.
The document-drafting sub-commission's editing team had reported these supplementary remarks to the Party Political Bureau which had discussed them and corrected the draft documents accordingly.
The General Secretary added that the 11th plenum was to further discuss these draft documents which would be presented to the 12th plenum for approval.
The 12th plenum of the Party Central Committee will also give its opinions on the personnel issue, the Party leader said.--VNA
