Ede language to be taught in Dac Lac
Ha Noi, Aug. 21 (VNA) -- The language of Ede minority group will be taught to third graders at 45 schools in Dac Lac central highlands province as from the 2001-2002 school year.
The teaching programme has been compiled by the provincial Board for Research of Education to Minority Group People.
By the end of this month, the provincial Education and Training Service will hold a training course for 100 Ede teachers in time for the start of the new school year on Sept. 5.
The Ede group has a population of about 200,000 concentrating in Dac Lac province, southern part of Gia Lai province, and western part of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces.--VNA
