Central Highlanders assisted in buying houses
Ha Noi, Dec. 2 (VNA) -- On-spot ethnic minority families and families covered by the State's preferential policy in Lam Dong, Dac Lac, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces of the Central Highlands will be helped to buy houses in the form of deferred payment in kind.
Under the Prime Minister's decision, each of these households will be allowed to buy a house worth 7 million VND (466 USD) at most with an annual interest rate of three percent and a grace period of five years. If the house costs more than 7 million VND, the family concerned will have to pay for the excessive amount.
The term of debt re-payment is 10 years and will start in the sixth year since the date of buying.
