Viet Nam condemns terrorist attacks against Iraqi civilians

Ha Noi, Mar. 3 (VNA) - Viet Nam strongly condemned terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians in Iraq, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Dung.
He was answering a Vietnam News Agency correspondent's question on Viet Nam's reaction to a series of blasts in Iraq recently, causing heavy losses in lives and property, particularly the anti-Shiite attacks in Karbala and Baghdad.
The spokesman said: "Viet Nam strongly condemns recent terrorist attacks on innocent civilians in Iraq, particularly blasts in Kabala city on Tuesday which killed and injured many people."
"We oppose all terrorist actions, which badly affect the peace process and stability of Iraq, and hope that security would be restored soon so that the Iraqi people can reconstruct their country."
