New York Life Int'l opens representative office in Hanoi
Ha Noi, Dec. 4 (VNA) -- A US insurance company, New York Life International Inc., has opened its representative office in Ha Noi to explore market demand and promote investment in trade activities.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony on Dec. 1, Chairman and General Director of the company, Gary G. Benanav, said that it was the beginning of his company's long-term commitment to the country.
With more than 155 years of experience in insurance, the company will provide life insurance services in the hope of building stable and reliable cooperative relations with Viet Nam.
In reply, Deputy Finance Minister Le Thi Bang Tam welcomed New York Life International's presence in Viet Nam, and expressed her belief that it would contribute to the development of Viet Nam's insurance industry in the process of regional and global integration.-
