US Senators To Travel To Vietnam
Seven US senators will arrive in Vietnam tomorrow for a two-day trip to discuss trade with the Vietnamese government and meet the US business community here.
The delegation includes Oregon Sens. Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden, Mississippi Sen. Trent Lott, Utah Sen. Robert Bennett, Kentucky Sen. Jim Bunning, Texas Sen. John Cornyn, and Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo.
They are scheduled to stay in Vietnam from December 11-13.
Vietnam is the last leg of the US Senate delegation’s Asia trip which kicked off December 5. Other stops included China, Thailand, and Cambodia.
